- Forecasting of power foreward prices and spark/dark spreads for Western European power markets;
- Daily discussions with Front Office on the development of relevant power markets and traded products;
- Linking analysis to trade recommendations and portfolio optimisation;
- Working in close relations with traders on the trading floor;
- Supporting analysis on global macroeconomic developments and financial markets.

- University degree
- Profound understanding of the mechanisms and regulatory framework of relevant power markets in Western Europe;
- Strong analytical and econometric skills;
- Ability to make best use of relevant information sources and databases;
- Understanding of power forward products and their valuations (including options);
- Proven track record in power analysis within a trading environment, preferably with experience “close to the trading desk”
