| The (Junior) Power Portfolio Analyst is responsible for analysing realisations within the power portfolio for the different sales channels such as B2B, Retail, B2B Flex and Belgium. Main purpose of these analyses is advising the Power Pricing and Position Management department on possible actions, within the given risk profile and portfolio guidelines. The (Junior) Portfolio Analyst will actively think along information needs within the portfolio. During the process the Portfolio Analyst will maintain contact and information flows with several departments as Finance and Control, Market Risk, Forecasting and Energy Allocation. |

- In close cooperation with Forecasting, Energy Allocation and Finance & Control, determine and analyse the delta’s between allocations and forecasts. Both volumetric and financial changes;
- Clarify the effects of pooling (dis)advantages of the sales channels within one portfolio;
- Think along with the Senior Power Portfolio Analyst and Position Management concerning the development of hedging strategies and (new) products for the several sales channels. Monitoring results on hedging strategies and advise on improvements;
- Maintain risk models and premia calculations for optimisation purposes;
- Generate, interpret and clarify reports based on elements such as portfolio results and return on risks;
- Develop and maintain contact and information flows with internal and external departments such as Position Management, Market Risk, Pricing, Structuring and Forecasting, Energy Allocation and F&C.

- Relevant experience in Power Portfolio Management or Risk Management;
- University degree in Mathematics or Econometrics;
- Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written).

| Within the Sales Portfolio Management (SPM) business unit, The Power Portfolio Management team (PPM) is responsible for all power portfolio management activities related to the sales channels. Within this team the Power Portfolio Analysis group develops and maintains models to support the management and optimization of the portfolio. This is done in close cooperation with the Position Management team, Risk Management, other SPM departments and the sales channels. |
