- Develop and maintain relationships with traditional and non-traditional clients/customers to enable business via multiple commodities (Electricity, Natural Gas, Oil, Coal, Emissions);
- Originate new - out-of-the box - marketing and trading opportunities with counter-parties/clients;
- Explore markets and promote new products in collaboration with other commodity desks and Business Units;
- Engage in and add value to asset development / portfolio decision making processes;
- Develop new, innovative, complex longer-termed structured products with embedded optionality;
- Work closely with the structured trading desks, channel and distribute information and opportunities.

- University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Economics is required and a graduate degree in Business or Economics is preferred;
- Extensive senior experience in structured physical asset-related and/or financial transactions;
- Lead responsibility for major commercial transactions;
- P&L responsibility for successful achievement of transaction goals;
- Extensive commercial experience in structured and standard energy transactions, including extensive involvement in standard and non-standard contract terms, counter-party credit requirements, performance assurance, default provisions, delivery provisions, etc.;
- Leadership experience (even if team was small and leadership informal);
- Experience and familiarity with master enabling agreements, such as EFET. Thorough understanding of relationship between master agreements, confirmations, and collateral security agreements;
- Extensive analytical and financial experience with financial statements, credit analysis, risk metrics;
- Experience in market protocols and dynamics, including congestion mitigation mechanisms, generator interconnection rules, etc.
