As a Junior Market Risk Analyst you identify, investigate, quantify, monitor and report Risk on the portfolio, support the development/improvement of risk management systems and processes and provide analytical support to the Risk Management group, Management, Traders and Executives within the company. The Market Risk Analyst will communicate emerging risk/issues to ensure that appropriate counter measures are taken and risks are managed within the defined limits.

- Prepare, analyse and report previous day market data and maintain the price catalogue;
- Prepare, analyse and report internal and external market information;
- Prepare and analyse trade position information;
- Prepare daily performance and other detailed risk reports (e.g. whole company or business segment and special/ad-hoc categorisations);
- Analysis of the Forward Curve and MtM report;
- Provide risk reports to the Management with accurate and timely commentary;
- Work on internal department projects;
- Perform ad –hoc analyses on trading risk/performance;
- Maintain data required and provide reports and analysis on the Company and Business Segment funding requirements/ cash flow / other ad hoc analysis.

- University degree (HBO) or equivalent in Economics/Finance or Mathematic area;
- Experienced in numerical manipulation;
- Experience in trading/finance/accounting/operations department in an international commercial organisation is a plus;
- Knowledge of VBA (expert), SQL (preferable), knowledge of Bloomberg or Reuters (preferable);
- Excellent verbal and written English skills, one other language beneficial.
